A tourist has been killed in the popular Spanish tourist resort of Benidorm.
A bus mounted the pavement in Calle Ruzafa at 10.30pm last night, according to Spanish news sources .
As well as hitting the woman, who was aged between 25 and 30, the bus also smashed into a shop.
The bus is understood to have been a tourist bus bringing holiday makers to their hotels in the Costa Blanca.
The woman killed is believed to be of Portuguese nationality.
Authorities have cordoned off the area.
