A tourist who visited Ireland for three weeks said he was shocked to see that all the young men and women in the country appear to look the same.
The man from Vancouver in Canada said he spent most of his time on a road trip across the west of Ireland, stopping in towns in west Cork, Kerry and Clare, and had some hilarious observations following his trip.
He was full of praise for Ireland saying that it was an "absolutely beautiful country" with "polite and helpful" people but said one strange thing he found was that all the young men he came across had the same haircut.

He said the young men also all wore the same type of clothes, which was always "some combination of a track suit".
And Irish girls didn't escape his observations either as he remarked that a lot of them were "really tanned" and "wore a lot of makeup".
Taking to Reddit to discuss his thoughts on Ireland, he wrote: "This is a question with no hate or judgement: is it just me or does every young male in Ireland have the same haircut and wear the same clothes?
"Head is shaved really close around the sides and back with a poof of hair on top. Clothes are some combination of a track suit.
"On that note, another observation is that a lot of the young girls were REALLY tanned (and wore a lot of makeup) are tanning beds a big thing over there?"
Irish Reddit users rushed to comment with one person agreeing with his observation of the common haircut and tracksuit, saying: "It's not just you.... [and for the women] it's mostly fake tan. Sunbeds are becoming less and less popular."
The Canadian replied, joking: "Good to know I wasn’t seeing the same guy over and over again!"
Another Reddit user wrote: "I always think I spot my nephew in town, but it's just another clone."
And a third said: "I'd put the same haircut and clothes down to the fact that Irish lads mercilessly slag any of their mates who cut against the grain."
Meanwhile, one female Reddit user admitted: "Yeah us Irish girls are so insecure about our pale skin."
The Canadian also commented on some of the food he tried in Ireland, saying that he was a big fan of the full Irish breakfast in BnBs across the country but was baffled by some of the food served in a Chinese takeaway - as it wasn't traditionally Chinese.
He wrote: "The food was decent... Loved getting takeout from the chipper! Loved that every BNB I stayed at served a full Irish breakfast in the morning.

"Don’t understand why fries and curry are a thing when ordering Chinese?"
Many people took quickly jumped to defend the food choice, writing: "Curry chips are a meal sent from heaven. You must not have eaten them if you didn’t understand."
Another said: "I guess they meant that fries and curry are not your typical Chinese food, it's only a thing found in Ireland. That's how the spice bags came to life."
The Canadian man replied in the comments, saying: "I’ve been put firmly in my place regarding curry chips."
