Tourist accused of secretly filming sex and posting videos on paid porn site to plead guilty

Fabricio Da Silva Claudino allegedly uploaded an illegal recording to a porn site.

A Brazilian tourist has indicated he will plead guilty to illegally recording himself having sex with his former Sydney boyfriend before uploading the video to a porn site where people paid to watch it.

Former Emirates flight attendant Fabricio Da Silva Claudino chose to remain in his cell at Silverwater jail while his matter was heard at Burwood Court today.

He has indicated he will plead guilty to 11 charges of taking and distributing without consent several images and video of a Sydney man in July last year.

According to the statement of police facts, the former lovers had consensual sex at their home in Marrickville, but the victim was allegedly unaware it was being recorded on an iPhone.

"The victim is clearly unaware of this activity being recorded and can be depicted in the recording as face down throughout," the document read.

"At one point the defendant positions the mobile phone towards a mirror where his face is depicted ... at no stage, did the victim consent to the defendant taking this recording."

Before the video — which lasts four minutes and 18 seconds — was uploaded to OnlyFans, Da Silva Claudino posted a photograph with his now ex-boyfriend on Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro.

"Video coming up soon — stay tuned," the caption read, followed by eggplant and peach emoji symbols, which carry sexual significance.

Several graphic images exposing the victim's genitals were also uploaded to the "Fabricio Monkey" account — which Mr Da Silva Claudio promoted to his tens of thousands of Twitter and Instagram followers.

The men had fallen in love in Brazil last year and agreed to continue their relationship in Sydney, but ended it after five months.

Mr Da Silva Claudino decided to stay in Australia and supported himself by posing for life drawing classes and uploading explicit content online.

On Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to 15 charges relating to obscene and indecent exposure following acts committed while free on bail in Surry Hills between September 2019 and February 2020.

Mr Da Silva Claudino filmed himself exposing his penis on the balcony of his Chalmers Street apartment — in full view of a Sydney high school and Prince Alfred Park next to Central Station.

The Brazilian national has spent five months in Silverwater prison and is likely to be extradited home following the completion of any sentence.

He is due to be sentenced at the Downing Centre Court next month.
