Touching posters appear around Glasgow reminding folk to 'keep looking out for each other'

Touching new posters have appeared around Glasgow reminding folk to 'keep looking out for each other' amid the ongoing lockdown while paying tribute to Scotland's rich music history.

Done via a collaboration between popular Glasgow designers and screenprinters Social Recluse and arts and cultural agency Jack Arts, the posters feature well known lyrics by Scottish artists such as Simple Minds, Doguie MacLean and Stealers Wheel.

Alongside a 'Keep looking out for each other Glasgow' message and fantastic illustrations of the SSE Hydro, the Barrowland Ballroom and the Duke of Wellington statue.

Speaking to Glasgow Live about the posters, Social Recluse said: "The prints were done to give out a positive message around the city. Music is a big part of the city. At first the message was for each other and missing friends and family.

"Seeing the posters up in the city.. it's like a message from the city to each of us.. shops.. cafes.. pubs all closed and we will all need to play our part in bringing the city back to life."
