Touching floral tributes left at scene for tragic Leeds boy, 15, killed in crash

Heartfelt floral tributes have been left at the scene after a Leeds teenager tragically died when his motorbike crashed this weekend.

The 15-year-old boy was riding a motorbike along Temple Newsam Road on Sunday, July 24 at 9.14pm when his motorbike left the road and hit a lamppost. West Yorkshire Police said he died at the scene.

Floral tributes have been left at the scene of the crash on Temple Newsam Road, along with messages and photographs of the teenage victim. There is a large stack of flowers and cards around a lamppost at the scene.

One message reads: "You will be missed by so many. I have so many memories that I will cherish every day bro, you was such a loving boy but we will meet again lad. You are now the brightest star. See you on the other side."

Another note says: "You are loved by many. We all gonna miss you bro."

Another 15-year-old boy also suffered serious injuries, and is currently in a stable condition at the hospital. He is thought to have been riding on the same bike.

Police said three motorbikes in total were travelling towards Temple Newsam House along the road.

Police are now appealing for witnesses and officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the bikes travelling along the road in the moments before the accident. People with relevant footage are also being urged to call the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101.
