Touchdown Wire ranks Titans helmet one of the worst in the league

The Tennessee Titans have received plenty of mixed reviews in regards to their newer uniforms.
Some fans are fond of the changes, while others would just like to see the team revert to the old jerseys and britches they used to take the field with.
And then there are those who want to see the old Houston Oilers uniforms brought back to life as a throwback option — something even the team has addressed and made clear is unlikely.
When the Touchdown Wire recently posted its rankings of each NFL team’s helmet, the network place the Titans near the bottom of the list.
Only the Washington Redskins were placed lower.
Here’s what Barry Werner had to say about the team’s look.
“The Titans suffer from their franchise’s past,” he wrote. “Not many helmets were better than the Houston Oilers’ look. This one is fine but in no way does it stack up to the Oilers’ helmet.”
The Arizona Cardinals ranked just ahead of the Titans within the gallery, while the helmet that took top prize in Werner’s opinion was that of the Oakland Raiders.
Fans and analysts alike can dream of the Titans finding a way of reviving the aesthetic of the powder-blue and white of the old days, but that look remains no more than a wishful thought at this point.
