Touchdown Wire breaks down what’s wrong with the Browns offense

The 2019 season has not started well for Baker Mayfield or the Cleveland Browns offense. The considerable promise coming off the record-setting rookie campaign in 2018 has not carried into the second year.

Doug Farrar of Touchdown Wire took a deep dive into the struggles to try and figure out why the offense, and Mayfield in particular, are not living up to the lofty expectations in the first three weeks.

What's wrong with Baker Mayfield and the Browns offense?

  • Not enough up-tempo flow to the offense
  • Too much “11” personnel package
  • Missing David Njoku and Rashard Higgins
  • Mayfield not reading the defense well
