Tottenham youngster Kyle Walker-Peters signs new contract

Tottenham defender Kyle Walker-Peters has signed a new four-and-a-half year deal with the club.

The full-back, 21, only penned a new deal in May which wold have kept him at the club until 2021, but has now committed his future until 2023.

Walker-Peters, who has 11 career appearances for the Spurs first team to his name, is in the running for his first Champions League start in the crucial final group stage game at Barcelona on Tuesday with both Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier doubts through injury.

A product of the Tottenham academy, Walker Peters made his debut with a man-of-the match performance at Newcastle in August 2017.

The youngster becomes the latest Tottenham player to put pen to paper on a new deal this season with the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Heung-min Son all agreeing extensions since the end of last season, with manager Mauricio Pochettino and his staff also agreeing new contracts over the summer.
