Tottenham XI vs Chelsea: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and latest injuries for Premier League clash

Jose Mourinho’s team more or less picks itself at the moment but the Portuguese has been boosted by the return to fitness of Tanguy Ndombele for the visit of his former club, Chelsea.

The France midfielder has missed the last three matches with a groin strain but he is unlikely to be thrown in from the start against the Blues, who boast a formidable midfield threat in the shape of Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount.

Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko are therefore expected to continue in a midfield two, despite Mourinho’s suggestion that the Frenchman is better in an advanced role.

Elsewhere, there are few selection dilemmas for Mourinho, who has said that a first free week with his squad on the training ground is unlikely to result in a drastically altered XI.

Hugo Lloris, Ben Davies and Erik Lamela remain sidelined but Michel Vorm should be back on the bench after recovering from a calf injury.
