Tottenham XI vs Wolfsberger: Confirmed team news, starting lineup and latest injuries for Europa League today

Jose Mourinho said he would name “a very similar” side to the one that beat Wolfsberger 4-1 in Hungary last week for tonight’s Europa Leaguelast-32 second leg against the Austrians, and stuck to his word.

But with one foot already in the next round, Mourinho rested Heung-min Son - who played 45 minutes in the first leg - paving the way for loanee Carlos Vinicius to lead the line.

The Spurs manager revealed on Tuesday that he is still having to manage Gareth Bale’s minutes, and the Welshman would himself on the bench and be saved for the crucial home match against Burnley on Sunday after he changed the match against West Ham as a substitute.

Joe Hart comes in between the sticks after club captain Hugo Lloris played the first leg, while Toby Alderweireld, who Mourinho has already confirmed will start, is alongside Eric Dier.

Steven Bergwijn is pushing for minutes, having slipped behind Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela in the pecking order for League games, and starts.

Giovani Lo Celso is back in training but remains unavailable, along with the injured Serge Aurier and ineligible Joe Rodon.

A number of youngsters including Dane Scarlett and Jamie Bowden are on the bench.
