Tottenham face a midfield conundrum to solve with both Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks suspended for the Norwich City.
Sissoko and Winks picked up their fifth yellow cards of the season in the narrow 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion, just days before the December 31 cut-off date.
This leaves Jose Mourinho with two spaces to fill, with Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso the likeliest options.
Ndombele was absent from the 18-man matchday squad on Boxing Day despite, after the game, Jose Mourinho confirming the midfielder was fit but wary of aggravating muscular problems.
The club-record signing should come into the starting XI with Eric Dier, Christian Eriksen and Lo Celso in the frame for the other slot.
Lo Celso has struggled for minutes under Mourinho, and predecessor Mauricio Pochettino, but impressed in a cameo outing against Brighton.

Tottenham predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Ndombele, Dier, Lamela, Dele, Lucas, Kane
