Heung-min Son, Lucas Moura and youngster Troy Parrott are all possibilities, though the South Korean will surely start after returning from suspension.
Erik Lamela could make his first start since October after returning to fitness but left-back remains a problem area, with both Danny Rose and Ben Davies sidelined. Jan Vertonghen may deputise to allow Ryan Sessegnon a rest.
Tanguy Ndombele and Hugo Lloris are also missing, while Eric Dier may not have recovered from a virus in time to play.
Mourinho has said youngsters Japhet Tanganga, Parrott and Oliver Skipp could feature but probably from the bench, with Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters pushing for inclusion too.
