Tottenham XI vs Ludogorets: Confirmed team news, starting lineup as Kane and Bale start in Europa League

Jose Mourinho  has backed up his claim that Tottenham will be at "full power" against Ludogorets this evening, having claimed he would be less inclined to rotate his squad in the Europa League immediately after last week's dismal defeat at Royal Antwerp.

The Spurs manager had already named Gareth Bale in the XI and the Welshman is joined in the front three by Harry Kane, who was rested from the start in the first two group games but was needed from the bench in Belgium, and Lucas Moura.

Mourinho has so far rotated his goalkeepers in the competition, so Joe Hart gets the nod after Hugo Lloris played last week.

With Sergio Reguilon (flu) and Serge Aurier sidelined, Mourinho's full-backs pick themselves but Eric Dier is not rested and partners Toby Alderweireld at centre-back.

In midfield, Giovani Lo Celso needs minutes after an impressive cameo against Brighton but the wait goes on to start with Tanguy Ndombele as Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko complete a midfield three.

Dele Alli is on the bench.

Asked about absentees, Mourinho said: "Reguilon is ill but not the Covid situation at all, just flu.

"We don't want him to be with the team, he could, but we don't want him to because that position we have two great players and professionals.

"Ben Davies is Ben Davies so no problem with that. Erik Lamela has a little problem for a few weeks and after the last match we decided it's the moment to stop and have this week plus the two weeks of internationals for him to recover fully.

"Aurier has a little problem, nothing important but he decided with the medical team that he didn't want to risk [playing today]."

Joe Rodon, Gedson Fernandes, Danny Rose and Paulo Gazzaniga are ineligible.
