Tottenham's Tanguy Ndombele has returned to training ahead of the visit of Chelsea to north London.
The France midfielder has missed the last three matches with a groin strain and is unlikely to be thrown in from the start against the Blues, who boast a formidable midfield threat in the shape of Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mason Mount.
Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko are therefore expected to continue in a midfield two, despite Mourinho’s suggestion that the Frenchman is better in an advanced role.
Elsewhere, there are few selection dilemmas for Mourinho, who has said that a first free week with his squad on the training ground is unlikely to result in a drastically altered XI.
Hugo Lloris, Ben Davies and Erik Lamela remain sidelined but Michel Vorm should be back on the bench after recovering from a calf injury.

Predicted Tottenham XI (4-2-3-1): Gazzaniga; Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen; Sissoko, Dier; Lucas, Dele, Son; Kane.
