Tottenham XI vs Burnley: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League game today

Harry Kane, OIiver Skipp and Davinson Sanchez are the three Tottenham players to keep their places against Burnley today after Thursday’s embarrassment against NS Mura.

Skipp is back from a domestic suspension, while Kane leads the line as usual and Sanchez surprisingly starts again despite being at fault for at least one of the goals in Slovenia.

Antonio Conte makes two changes to the team that came back to beat Leeds last weekend, with Skipp in for Harry Winks and Sanchez replacing Japhet Tanganga in defence.

Tottenham are without Cristian Romero (hamstring) for today’s game at Turf Moor along with Giovani Lo Celso and Dane Scarlett.

Conte warned after the Mura defeat that he is preparing to make serious changes to his Spurs squad. He declared: “More time has now passed and I’m making my evaluations directly.

“Not through the TV or through other persons, but directly, and for sure, we need to improve a lot to reduce the gap with the top teams.”
