Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has handed Gareth Bale just his third Premier League start of the season as Burnley visit today.
Bale changed the game from the bench in last weekend’s defeat to West Ham before scoring against Wolfsberger again on Wednesday, and the Wales forward is rewarded.
Serge Aurier has missed six matches with a foot injury but comes straight back in. There is no Japhet Tanganga in the squad.
Dele Alli was also impressive in the Europa League round-of-32 second leg, scoring a brilliant bicycle kick and getting two assists, but an appearance from the bench seems more likely for the 24-year-old as he is still working his way back to fitness.
Lucas Moura is also rewarded for a goal against the Hammers with another start at No10. Erik Lamela is on the bench.
