Tanganga, Rodon, Vinicius, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso all come into the team at Villa Park.
Mourinho, who questioned the attitude and professionalism of his players following the 3-0 defeat against Dinamo, has left Gareth Bale and Dele Alli on the bench.
Serge Aurier and Toby Alderweireld ill. Matt Doherty and Harry Winks have been dropped from the squad.
Tanganga comes in at right-back, while Rodon starts alongside Davinson Sanchez at centre-back.
With Heung-min Son out with a hamstring strain and Erik Lamela suspended, Lo Celso has been handed a first start since December after showing fight from the bench against Dinamo.
