Tottenham winger Jack Clarke undergoing QPR medical ahead of loan switch... and his debut could come vs Leeds

Tottenham winger Jack Clarke is undergoing a medical at QPR ahead of agreeing a loan deal until the end of the season.

QPR are hopeful a move will be wrapped up by the end of the day, making the teenager available for a debut against his former club Leeds United this weekend.

Clarke came through the youth ranks at Elland Road and was snapped up by Tottenham last summer for £10million after impressing in the Championship.

The winger was then loaned back to Leeds for this season, but Spurs recalled him in January due to a lack of playing time.

A number of Championship clubs had shown an interest in signing the 19-year-old, including Derby and Millwall, but QPR are set to win the race for his signature.

Clarke is undergoing a medical today before agreeing to join the west London club until the end of the season.

QPR host Leeds at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium on Saturday and the winger could make his debut then.

QPR have already impressed Spurs with their development of midfielder Luke Amos - who is also on loan at the club - and it is hoped Clarke can now reignite his season.
