Tottenham weigh up Saints duo, Liverpool handed Sanches boost, White's Arsenal stance

Premier League clubs continue to scrammble in an effort to bolster their ranks before the season.

Manchester City will head into the campaign as top dogs and could yet add English talent in the form of Harry Kane and Jack Grealish.

The pair are linked with moves to Manchester whilst Jadon Sancho too looks to be heading there, although on the red side not the blue.

Chelsea, the European champions, have a striker on their wishlist.

Mikel Arteta is plotting an Arsenal overhaul at the Emirates which could lead to several new additions.

Liverpool have already added Ibrahima Konate in defence, but may not be finished there.

Here's some of the latest rumours from the top flight.

Liverpool given Sanches boost

Lille are willing to cash in on Portugal international Renato Sanches, according to L'Equipe .

Liverpool are weighing up a move for the former Bayern Munich flop as they look to bolster their midfield ranks.

Sanches has rebuilt his reputation over recent years and helped Lille claim an unlikely Ligue 1 triumph.

He took that form into Euro 2020 and, despite his country's last 16 exit, was a shining light.

Lille have produced some impressive talent over the years but their stature and finances mean they have been prepared to move players on provided their valuations are met.

Danny Ings is eyeing a move to a Premier League giants having turned down a four-year contract offer from Southampton.

The Saints were prepared to make the forward the highest-paid players in the club's history, reports The Athletic.

But Ings has said no and is prepared to wait in order to seal a move away from the south coast.

Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City are among the clubs previously linked with the striker, who endured a forgettable spell at Liverpool.

The north Londoners are also eyeing up a swoop for Southampton centre-half Jannik Vestergaard, according to The Times .

Tottenham are in talks with the defender, who too has entered the final 12 months of his deal.

Ben White has made it clear he wants to join Arsenal, reports football.london.

The Brighton centre-half, who is currently on international duty, is the subject of £50m interest from the Gunners.

White has been on the radar of several top clubs having rose to prominence in a loan spell at Leeds back in the 2019/20 season.

Arsenal though are ready to back-up their interest with investment and the young defender wants to seal a switch to the Emirates.

Brighton have previously been determined to keep hold of White, but may have to admit defeat.
