Tottenham wage bill and revenue revealed as Dele Alli misses Man United clash

It is now just one week until Tottenham return to action.

Three months off have been a drag, but the Premier League returns next week, with Spurs taking on Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

There will, of course, be no fans inside the stadium, but all of the matches will be live on television as the season comes to a close finally.

Jose Mourinho is making preparations for the game with United, but those have been hit by a suspension for Dele Alli.

All the news on that and more is below in our round-up of the biggest news stories from N17.

Wage bill and revenue

That will not come as too much of a surprise to supporters, with chairman Daniel Levy consistently running a tight ship.

What may interest fans is the fact that Spurs have the fourth-highest revenue stream in the league.

Dele Alli to miss Man United

Dele Allli will miss Tottenham's return to Premier League action against Manchester United.

Spurs will return to league action on Friday, June 19 with a game against Jose Mourinho's former employers.

But Mourinho will not be able to call upon Alli after the Football Association handed out a one-match ban for his social media post in March.

Alli appeared to mock an Asian man in a video filmed in an airport when coronavirus was just becoming a major issue.

Mourinho's clever decision

With Tottenham gearing up for their return to Premier League action against Manchester United, Jose Mourinho needs to get his players up to speed.

Dream attack

How will Jose Mourinho line up his team against United next Friday?

For Tottenham, who had been struggling with injuries, the coronavirus break came at a good time, with the Portuguese having a fully-fit squad from which to choose now.

The Dele Alli news means he will be without the Englishman, but otherwise Mourinho will have decisions to make.

And he could finally have his dream attack at his disposal.
