Tottenham vs West Ham: Prediction, team news, odds, live stream, TV channel – Premier League 2018-19 preview

Tottenham vs West Ham
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Kick-off: 12.30pm, Saturday April 27

Tottenham contest their fiercest London derby to date at their new stadium this afternoon as West Ham travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs boast a perfect record from their opening four matches at their new ground, scoring eight goals without reply along the way.

The Hammers have little to play for here aside from local bragging rights, but are fully aware of what an away win could do to Spurs’ top-four aspirations.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side currently occupy third place, but only six points separates them from sixth-place Man Utd.

Team news and predicted line-ups

Tottenham remain without talisman Harry Kane and will have to be cautious with a Champions League semi-final first leg against Ajax around the corner.

Heung-min Son is suspended for that European clash on Tuesday, meaning he'll likely play a full role against London rivals West Ham, though midfield options remain limited with Moussa Sissoko the latest to join the injury list having hobbled off at Manchester City last week.

Danny Rose has nailed down the first choice left-back spot this season, though could be rested with Tuesday in mind as Pochettino looks to keep his thin squad as fresh as possible for the run-in.

Manuel Pellegrini is likely to be able to welcome Javier Hernandez back to the fold against Spurs after the Mexican missed the 2-2 draw with Leicester due to an ear problem, Lucas Perez stepping in and scoring from the bench in his place.

Aaron Cresswell has returned to training though may not be risked while the home clash with Southampton on May 4 is a more likely return for Manuel Lanzini who has endured a hamstring problem.

Jack Wilshere continued his return from anlke injury with a first appearance since December 1 off the bench against the Foxes but the former Arsenal man will not be risked from the off against his old rivals.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Llorente

West Ham XI: Fabianski, Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku, Rice, Noble, Anderson, Antonio, Arnautovic, Hernandez

Score prediction: Tottenham 2-1 West Ham

We expect Spurs to continue their winning start to life at their new stadium, but in what will be the first proper derby at the new ground, we expect the Hammers to score the first goal by a visiting side.
