Tottenham vs Watford
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Wembley
Date: Wednesday, January 30, 2019
Kick-off: 8pm GMT
Tottenham will look to refocus on Premier League matters on Wednesday when they welcome Watford to Wembley.
In the space of four days last week Spurs crashed out of the EFL Cup and FA Cup following defeats to Chelsea vs Crystal Palace.
Mauricio Pochettino's depleted squad must find a response with the battle for top four intensifying following Manchester United's return to form.
Tottenham team news and provisional squad
Son Heung-min will be available for Tottenham's Premier League clash with Watford.
The South Korea international has missed the last three games as he has been on international duty at the Asian Cup, but a surprise quarter-final defeat to Qatar has allowed him to return to London quicker than expected.
Midfielder Moussa Sissoko is also back after a knee problem but Ben Davies (groin) is still out along with Harry Kane (ankle) and Dele Alli (hamstring).
Provisional squad: Lloris, Gazzaniga, Trippier, Alderweireld, Aurier, Sanchez, Rose, Davies, Walker-Peters, Sissoko, Foyth, Winks, Moura, Eriksen, Skipp, Son, Lamela, Llorente.
Score prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Watford
The return of Son to north London will be a huge lift for the rest of the squad and will help lift some of the gloom that has decended over the past week.

There have been 47 meetings between the two sides over the years with Tottenham winning 30 of those.
Tottenham progressed when these two were paired in the EFL Cup fourth round back in September but just a few weeks earlier the Hornets ended Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the Premier League season with a 2-0 win at Vicarage Road.
