Tottenham v Southampton: Prediction, tickets, live stream, TV, team news, h2h - Premier League 2019-20 preview

Mauricio Pochettino welcomes his former club Southampton to town amid his toughest period as Tottenham manager.

After letting leads slip in back-to-back games, against Olympiakos and Leicester City, Spurs were then humbling by lowly Colchester United in the Carabao Cup in Pochettino's worst result of his tenure.

Another loss on Saturday would put Pochettino under serious pressure ahead of the visit of Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

For Southampton, they are riding a high after thrashing arch rivals Portsmouth in their own patch in their first meeting for over seven years.

Team news

Tottenham are still waiting for summer signings Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon to return to fitness.

The Argentine is not expected to be back before November but the club are hopeful that Sessegnon is back earlier.

Alex McCarthy will undergo a late fitness test before his place in the Southampton squad is confirmed.

Summer signing Moussa Djenepo remains sidelined with a thigh injury.
