Tottenham vs Southampton FC
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Wembley, London
Date: Wednesday, December 5, 2018
Kick-off: 8pm GMT
Mauricio Pochettino will face his manager-less former club Southampton on Wednesday after Saints parted company with Mark Hughes following just three Premier League wins in eight months.
The Tottenham manager’s former employers remain in bottom three after a 2-2 draw with Manchester United in Hughes’ final game in charge. Former goalkeeper, and club captain for a time under Pochettino, Kelvin Davis will take charge of the visitors at Wembley.
Spurs will been keen to bounce back in style after a damaging north London derby defeat to Arsenal in which they were second-best throughout, and subsequently being leapfrogged by their rivals in the Premier League.
