Tottenham and Manchester United meet in Shanghai this afternoon as their pre-season preparations continue in the International Champions Cup 2019.
Spurs will be without captain Hugo Lloris, who has returned home following a bout of tonsillitis. Tanguy Ndombele is likely to be handed his first Spurs start after impressing off the bench against Juventus, notching an assist for Lucas Moura almost immediately after coming off the bench.
As for United, Romelu Lukaku will once again be absent due to an ankle injury as the Belgian striker continues to seek a move, though Inter Milan have yet to meet the Red Devils' £80million asking price, offering only £54m so far.
“Lukaku won’t be fit,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said on Wednesday. “He’s been working with a physio the last few days so he won’t make this one either. He got injured in training so he had to stay here."
