Tottenham vs Man City: Spurs stars prepare for Champions League bow at new stadium

Tottenham’s stars have been pictured in training as they prepare to take on Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tomorrow.

Harry Kane & Co. will welcome Pep Guardiola’s quadruple chasing side for the first Champions League game to be held at their new stadium, and their first quarter-final since 2011.

Right-back Serge Aurier, who has started five of Spurs’ eight games in the competition this season, looks set to miss the game having failed to recover from a hamstring injury in time.

They will, however, be boosted by the return of midfielder Harry Winks, who has been out with a groin strain, though the likes of Eric Dier and Erik Lamela are definitely out.

Manchester City, meanwhile, will have left-back Benjamin Mendy available after he made his latest comeback from injury in the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton on Saturday, but top scorer Sergio Aguero is a major doubt.
