Tottenham vs Leipzig: Live stream, odds, prediction and team news

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Bundesliga high-flyers RB Leipzig to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie.

Jose Mourinho's side qualified after finishing second, behind their opponents league rivals Bayern Munich - while Leipzig are doing a club best and reach the group stage for the first time in their 10-year history.

Despite injuries hampering their performances, Mourinho's side are now seven games unbeaten in all competitions and now find themselves just a point behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Leipzig, meanwhile, are a point behind league leaders Bayern as they look to continue to challenge for the Bundesliga title and continue their best-ever performance in Europe too.

With Harry Kane and now Son Heung-min out for the rest of the season - Mourinho now has the headache of sorting out an attacking strategy that will get the upper-hand over Leipzig's defence as well trying to make sure Tim Werner has a quiet evening in north London.

Easier said than done though.

Lowdown

Spurs go into the Champions League Round of 16 for the third consecutive season.

Two years they bowed out at this stage after a dramatic second leg against Juventus who won 4-3 on aggregate - Paulo Dybala being instrumental in the match at Wembley.

Last year, they saw off German side Borussia Dortmund 4-0 on aggregate before beating Manchester City and Ajax on away goals before losing to Liverpool 2-0 in Madrid.
