Tottenham vs Huddersfield
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Kick-off time: 12:30pm GMT, today
Tottenham are aiming to keep their 100 per cent record at their new stadium intact as they welcome an already-relegated Huddersfield Town to north London for a must-win Premier League clash today.
Spurs opened Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a League win over Crystal Palace, and followed that up with a key Champions League victory over Manchester City in midweek.
Mauricio Pochettino's men will have to contend without Harry Kane after their star striker limped off against City with an ankle injury, but Heung-min Son is in form as Spurs look to keep their hopes of a top-four finish on track.
Tottenham team news and predicted line-up
Pochettino will likely rest a few key players against rock-bottom Huddersfield, though he will be keenly aware that Spurs cannot afford any slip-ups in the race for Champions League qualification.
Dele Alli may have broken his hand against Man City and will likely be left out this weekend, but could return for the second leg of their Champions League tie in midweek.
Erik Lamela is ruled out with a thigh problem along with Eric Dier, while Serge Aurier remains a doubt.
Tottenham XI: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Wanyama, Winks, Eriksen; Lucas, Son, Llorente
Score prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Huddersfield
While Spurs may be slow out of the traps after a draining Champions League tie in midweek, they should have enough quality to see off the Terriers - even without Kane and Dele Alli.
Son has scored twice at the new stadium, and few would bet against him getting another on Saturday.
