This evening's Premier League clash between Tottenham and Fulham has been postponed.
The two London clubs were due to go head-to-head at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday night, with the game live on Amazon Prime.
But the match has been called off as a result of a coronavirus outbreak at Fulham.
A number of first team players and staff have tested positive for the virus, and after Everton vs Manchester City suffered the same fate on Monday night, Tottenham vs Fulham has also been postponed.
Amid reports on Tuesday evening that the fixture was 'in doubt' due to a number of positive tests at Fulham, both sides were still waiting for an announcement from the Premier League at 2pm, four hours before the match was due to kick-off.
Jose Mourinho took to his Instagram account given the uncertainty over the fixture and posted a video of the coaching staff waiting around for the news.
"Match at 6pm... We still don't know if we play. Best league in the world," Mourinho captioned the video.
The decision to postpone the game means that both Tottenham and Fulham will now have a few days rest before they return to league action at the weekend.
Providing of course that Fulham can take to the pitch following positive Covid-19 tests, Scott Parker's side will travel to Burnley on Sunday afternoon for a midday kick-off.
Tottenham are due to host Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
