Tottenham's first match at their new £1billion stadium was marked with a 2-0 victory over London rivals Crystal Palace.
After an anxious 55-minute wait, it was Heung-Min Son who eventually broke the deadlock, with his strike taking a deflection off Luka Milivojevic before finding the back of the net. Christian Eriksen added the side's second goal with 10 minutes left on the clock.
A total of 59,215 fans packed into Spurs' new ground, which was subject to a number of delays before being given the green light 22 months on from the club's White Hart Lane departure.
Wednesday's result keeps Tottenham in the hunt for a top-four finish after a run of poor form which saw the side pick up just one point from five fixtures.
