Tottenham officially open the doors to their new £1billion stadium on Wednesday night as they host London rivals Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The plush 62,062-seater venue is now finally ready to host top-flight, first-team football at full capacity after the Under-18s and a Legends outfit competed in two successful test events in front of increasing crowds that were mandatory in order to receive a necessary safety certificate from Haringey Council.
Spurs will look to begin life at their new ground on a positive note and arrest an alarming slump in form that has seen them quickly regress from title contenders to battling just to retain their place in the top four.
Mauricio Pochettino's side were denied a hard-fought draw against Liverpool on Sunday thanks to a comical last-gasp own goal and have now collected just one point from their last five matches while also being leapfrogged by north London rivals Arsenal.
They remain fourth after Manchester United's slip-up at Wolves on Tuesday and will look to reclaim third spot with victory over a Palace team who are now eight points clear of the relegation zone after moving closer to safety with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday that confirmed relegation for the Terriers.
How to watch
While the stadium opening ceremony is being broadcast, the actual match itself between Tottenham and Crystal Palace is not available to watch live in the United Kingdom, with the television cameras heading to Manchester City vs Cardiff instead.
However, highlights will be available on the Sky Sports app and skysports.com 15 minutes after full-time. Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event will also be showing the best of the action at 10pm GMT.
