Tottenham host Chelsea in the second-leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final clash on Wednesday evening.
While Antonio Conte’s men have won since their disappointing loss at Stamford Bridge last week, the manner of their performance against Morecambe in the FA Cup third-round didn’t exactly speak of a team firing on all fronts.
So then, it seems reasonable to suggest they face a mammoth task to overturn a two-goal deficit.
Thomas Tuchel’s side, despite a recent blip, certainly have a commanding lead to take to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which, given Spurs’ decent home form under Conte since his appointment, should lead to an interesting tie.
