Tottenham vs Brighton
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Date: Tuesday, 23 April, 2019
Kick-off: 7.45pm GMT
Tottenham will look to shake off their loss to Manchester City and tighten their grip on a top-four finish when they welcome Brighton to their new stadium on Tuesday night.
A 1-0 loss to the champions will have come as a surprise to few but Spurs now look at their four remaining fixtures of the season knowing maximum points is achievable.
Ahead of Chelsea hosting Burnley on Monday night, just three points separate third-placed Spurs and Manchester United in sixth, meaning any slip up could be catastrophic for Champions League qualification.
Brighton, meanwhile, have not scored in their previous five games but remain just outside the relegation zone thanks to Cardiff City's struggles.
Tottenham vs Brighton team news and predicted line-ups
Hugo Lloris is expected to recover from a muscle problem to start on Tuesday after Paulo Gazzaniga faced Manchester City.
Harry Winks (groin) will be assessed ahead of kick-off, but Serge Aurier (thigh), Moussa Sissoko (groin) and, of course, Harry Kane (ankle) are all out.
Erik Lamela (thigh) may be in the squad but it is unlikely.
Relegation-threatened Brighton will be without injured midfielder Davy Propper.
Dutchman Propper has been ruled out with a hamstring problem after limping off during Saturday's goalless draw at Wolves, with Beram Kayal hoping to take his place.
Winger Anthony Knockaert completes a three-match ban after being sent off against Bournemouth on April 13.
Predicted line-ups
Tottenham XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dier, Dele, Eriksen, Son, Lucas Moura
Brighton XI: Ryan, Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bong, Gross, Stephens, Kayal, March, Murray, Izquierdo
Score prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Brighton
Despite Saturday's 1-0 loss at Manchester City, Tottenham appear to have shaken off their March slump and should record another victory on Tuesday night.
As ever, Heung-min Son has stepped up in Harry Kane's absence while Lucas Moura looks hungry to take the most of his run in the starting XI.
Brighton, on the other hand, are in free fall having won just one point from their previous five games, failing to score a goal in that run. Cardiff's equally dismal form is their only hope of avoiding relegation.
