Tottenham vs Brighton prediction: How will Amazon Prime Premier League match play out today?

Dele Alli continued to be the leading light of Jose Mourinho's reign at Tottenham as he scored the winner in a 2-1 victory over Brighton.

Alli produced a brilliant first-time finish to give Spurs another Boxing Day win after Harry Kane had earlier cancelled out Adam Webster's opener. Relive the match below.

Good morning and welcome to our live coverage of Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League today.
The team news is in!
Tottenham:

Brighton & Hove Albion:

Some big news from The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: Tanguy Ndombele isn't injured, he has simply been ... left out of the squad.

He's had a strange start to his Spurs career. He started fairly brightly and was obviously Mauricio Pochettino's primary transfer target this summer, but has struggled with his fitness a little bit and, so far, it seems as though Mourinho just doesn't really fancy him.
Oh my word.

Jose Mourinho is being interviewed on Amazon Prime. Jim Rosenthal opens up with a nice easy question: "Good Christmas, Jose?"

"No. Not really. My dog died. And our dog was our family."

😭😭😭
A good stat from Opta: Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 13 top-flight Boxing Day games (W10 D3) since losing 0-2 at Portsmouth in 2003. Their last such home defeat was back in 1991 against Nottingham Forest (1-2).
Brighton supporters don't seem particularly pleased with their team's starting XI today...

Potter: "We lost Lewis yesterday due to some sickness. And we made the changes because tactically that is how I want to play against Tottenham."

Will there be a formation change?

"No. At this time of year things aren't easy to predict. So we will carry on with what we've been working with."
Great look.

😳

It's almost time for kick-off! The players are in the shiny new tunnel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Jose Mourinho is making his way to his seat.
Here we go!
KICK-OFF.
2 mins: It already looks as though Brighton have dropped into a back five. So a bit of kidology from Potter earlier when he said his team hadn't switched up their tactics.
4 mins: Winks is already offering Spurs a lot more dynamism than Eric Dier.

He offloads to Sissoko who swings a fine crossfield ball to Serge Aurier, but the full-back hasn't timed his run and is caught offside.

Aurier is awful, isn't he?
5 mins: Chance for Brighton! Mooy does well out wide and the ball finds itself to Alzate on the edge of the Spurs box, but he drags his shot wide.
6 mins: Oh so close Spurs!

Alli releases Kane who has drifted out to the right. Rather than cut inside he swings in a cross to the back post. Ryan Sessegnon gets there and looks as though he's about to finish, but the ball takes a nick off a Brighton defender and goes behind for a corner.

Which is then wasted.
9 mins: Spurs shuffle the ball around their backline. Sanchez to Alderweireld to Vertonghen to Alderweireld, who then drifts a sublime pass over the top of Brighton's back-line.

Sessegnon is though ... but he's offside! He takes the shot on anyway but hits the post. He's had two good chances now!
