Tottenham vs Brighton predicted line-ups: Team news ahead of Premier League clash

Tottenham Hotspur host Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino's team are still fighting on two fronts after their heroic performance to knock Manchester City out of the Champions League a week ago.

They're in Premier League action tonight, however, looking to get back that winning feeling after defeat to City on Saturday.

Visitors Brighton need all three points too, however, with the battle at the bottom set to go right to the wire.

Here's everything you need to know:

Team news

Hugo Lloris is likely to return to the side after missing the game with Manchester City with a groin problem.

Harry Kane remains out while Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks are long-term absentees also.

For Brighton Davy Propper could miss out after limping off against Wolves while captain Bruno will be assessed after also being withdrawn early at Molineux.

Anthony Knockaert remains suspended after his red card at Bournemouth.

Predicted line-ups

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dier, Lucas, Alli, Eriksen, Son

Brighton and Hove Albion: Ryan, Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bong, Gross, Stephens, Kayal, March, Murray, Izquierdo

What time is it and how can I watch it?

The game kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday at the Old Trafford.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Those without access to a TV can stream the game live via Sky Go.

We will be live blogging the game too, of course.

Prediction

Tottenham will want to start fast and ideally end the contest early as Pochettino continues to battle the challenges of fighting on two fronts.

His squad is already stretched thin as it is with Moussa Sissoko's absence looming large. Eric Dier's return to fitness couldn't have come at a better time, however, and his presence in the middle should help Spurs see plenty of the ball tonight.

Brighton did a superb rearguard job at Wolves at the weekend as they earned what could and should prove to be a crucial point at the bottom of the table and they will have to show similar powers of defensive nous to keep Tottenham out here.

Son Heung-min is in fine form and is likely to lead the line again and you have to think his quality in the final third allied with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli around him should prove enough to break the Brighton dam. 3-0.
