Tottenham vs Bayern Munich odds: Son tipped for first goalscorer at 13/2 in Champions League tie

After a disappointing start in the Champions League in Athens two weeks ago, Spurs have lost a one-goal lead at Leicester City and lost to League Two's Colchester United on penalties in the Carabao Cup.

They even could not win convincingly at home against Southampton with Hugo Lloris showing why goalkeepers should never (EVER) be given the ball back to them - enter Danny Ings. Oh and they went down to 10-men too.

But a win is a win and they will want to make their home a fortress this season, starting with Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

With many hoping for a similar result to the pre-season Audi Cup final, Spurs fans will be wanting to

We spoke with football.london's Andy Ha:

Recommended bets:

  • Correct score @ 2-2 - 10/1
  • Son Heung-min first goalscorer - 13/2

Win, lose or draw?

This game feels like a high scoring draw. Both teams have top class strikers in the shape of Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski who will likely get on the scoresheet, but I can see a closely fought draw in north London. 2-2 at 10/1 odds.

First goalscorer?

I've backed Son Heung-min (13/2) for Spurs' last few games and he hasn't delivered the first goal, but tonight could be the night.

He was a key part of Spurs' run to the final last year, and he seems to thrive on the big European nights.

Bayern will not sit back, which should play to Son's strengths.

First card?

Moussa Sissoko is a good shout to pick up the first booking. It looks likely with Italian referee Gianluca Rocchi averaging 4.1 cards a game so far this season. The match is 19/20 for four or more cards too.

Who is on penalties?

The one and only Harry Kane who is 15/4 to score first or 11/10 to score anytime. Take your pick.

Will you keep a clean sheet?

With Bayern's attacking talent on show - the likes of Lewandowski (3/1 first goalscorer), Philippe Coutinho (15/2), Serge Gnabry (6/1) and Kingsley Coman (15/2) , I can't see Spurs keeping a clean sheet (1/6). It would take something pretty special.
