Tottenham transfer targets: Paulo Dybala, Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon and more

Tottenham have approached Juventus over a sensational move for forward Paulo Dybala as Mauricio Pochettino continues his summer shopping.

Spurs would have to break their transfer record for the second time in the same window to land Dybala, who is valued at around £80m by the Serie A champions.

Tottenham remain in talks with Real Betis for £67m playmaker Giovani Lo Celso, but they would have to choose whether to prioritise him or Dybala if Juve offer encouragement that they might sell.

Dybala, who helped Argentina to a third-place finish at the Copa America and is still on holiday, can also play at No10 and wide and his versatility appeals to Pochettino, particularly with the future of Christian Eriksen still uncertain.

Meanwhile, Spurs have already signed Lyon enforcer Ndombele, who starred in Ligue 1 and the Champions League for Lyon, for a club-record fee and Leeds' youngster Jack Clarke.

Spurs paid an initial fee of £55.5m for Ndombele, with a further £9m potentially due in performance-related add-ons, in a considerable increase on the £40m paid to bring Davinson Sanchez from Ajax two years ago.

Clarke will return to Leeds on loan for the season after completing a £10m switch earlier this month.

Fulham twins Ryan and Steven Sessegnon are also on Spurs' summer shortlist.
