Tottenham transfer rumours: Willian Jose boost, Kim Min-Jae push, Daka rejects move

Tottenham have been rather steady in this summer’s transfer window so far - bringing in three new players.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Joe Hart and Matt Doherty have all been signed by Jose Mourinho, as he enters his first full season in charge at the club.

Last season, Spurs finished in sixth-place - seven points adrift of Chelsea - who occupied the final Champions League place.

Spurs are looking for a massive improvement this season, and are continuously being linked with new players - as evident in today’s transfer rumours.

Spurs given green light to sign Brazilian striker

Tottenham have been cleared to sign Willian Jose this summer, according to a report in Spanish publication El Desmarque.

Jose has been linked with Spurs in the past, and it looks like Mourinho may be back in for the Brazilian forward.

Spurs are after someone who can play back-up to Harry Kane, or even provide him with a bit of competition.

Real Sociedad are willing to let the 28-year-old leave the club this summer, and with his rather modest £54k-a-week wages, Daniel Levy can afford him.

Son pushing Spurs to sign international team-mate

Heung-min Son is pushing Tottenham to sign his South Korea team-mate Kim Min-jae, according to 90Min.

The report claims that the South Korean centre-back is subject of interest from Spurs - who had a bid rejected for him earlier in the summer.

Kim plays for Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan, and is nicknamed “monster” due to his large frame.

The 23-year-old is desperate to link up with Son at Spurs, and Levy is confident his club can complete a deal for the defender.

Daka says no to Spurs move

RB Salzburg star Patson Daka has declined a move to Tottenham this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

Despite Spurs’ interest in the RB Salzburg forward, the Austrian club have repeatedly stated that Daka’s intention is to stay with the side.

The Zambia international moved to Salzburg three years ago and has scored 38 goals in 84 games for the side.

Daka scored twice against Liverpool in a pre-season friendly last month.
