Tottenham transfer rumours: Real Madrid chase Son, PSG plot Spurs raid

Tottenham Hotspur picked up a much-needed victory over Leeds United earlier this afternoon.

Spurs were comfortable 3-0 winners over the Whites thanks to goals from Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld.

Jose Mourinho's men picked up their first win since the start of last month in the Premier League, and with the January transfer window now officially open, there could be plenty of business on the way in north London.

In light of this, we have the very latest round-up of Tottenham-related transfer stories and rumours listed below.

Tottenham: 2020 in review

Real prepare Son bid

Tottenham are now preparing themselves for a Real Madrid bid for star forward Son, according to Turkish journalist Ekren Konur.

Son has been in wonderful form for Spurs this season - with the South Korea international scoring 12 Premier League goals already.

Now, according to the journalist, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is personally monitoring the 28-year-old.

The La Liga giants will meet soon with Tottenham and get information about the player, it has been claimed.

Pochettino's PSG raid

With Mauricio Pochettino now the manager of PSG, the former Tottenham boss is said to be preparing a summer raid of his old club.

The Argentine masterminded Spurs' two title challenges, as well as a run to the Champions League final.

According to The Sun, Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is wanted by Pochettino, with the Frenchman potentially moving back to his homeland.

Dele Alli is also wanted by the former Tottenham manager, with the England midfielder currently out-of-favour under Mourinho.

Spurs eye Johnstone

Tottenham are interested in West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, according to a report from The Sun.

As well as being keen on Johnstone, Dean Henderson - who has been second-choice to David De Gea at Manchester United - is also being looked at.

If Lloris does indeed move on, then Mourinho will be in the market for a new first-choice shot-stopper, with Joe Hart currently his number two.

Johnstone has impressed for the Baggies this season following their promotion to the Premier League.
