There may not be any games in the Premier League for the next couple of weeks at least, but Tottenham Hotspur continue to be in the news.
That is because with no club football on the horizon until at least next month, owing to the coronavirus outbreak, attention has turned to the summer transfer window for some fans.
And the transfer rumour mill is in full swing, with report emerging over the futures of some current Tottenham players and prospective summer targets as part of Jose Mourinho's rebuild ahead of his first full season in charge.
But what is the latest over the futures of Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen? We take a look at the latest Tottenham transfer rumours below.
Who?
Harry Kane, the Tottenham striker who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained on New Year's Day in the 1-0 defeat against Southampton.
Where?
The Daily Express report that Tottenham have named their price when it comes to the club's top goal scorer, amid reported interest from Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
The report suggests that Manchester United are set for a battle with the two European heavyweights to try and sign the England international, who has scored 27 goals in 31 appearances for club and country so far this season.
What?
Included within the report, it is claimed that Diario Madridista say Spurs will not let Kane go for less than £154m - which could be off-putting to United.
But in truth, Spurs are not likely to want to sell the striker at any price.
Tottenham have struggled to replace Kane while he has been out injured, with further injuries to Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn leaving Jose Mourinho with limited senior attacking options in his squad.
Losing Kane would leave Spurs with huge shoes to fill, although the speculation over his future is likely to continue, particularly if Spurs miss out on European football next season.
Who?
Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has been linked with a move away from Merseyside this summer, with the Croatian finding himself out of favour at times.
Where?
Tottenham and Arsenal have both been named as potential suitors by the Mirror, with Lovren finding himself further down the pecking order at Liverpool this season.
He has also been linked with a move abroad, with Gazzetta della Sport linking him with a move to Lazio.
What?
It has previously been suggested that Liverpool would be looking for around £20million for the Croatian defender, who is out of contract at the end of the 2020/21 season.
But reports in Italy suggest that the fee could be less than that.
The defender has come in for some criticism during his time at Liverpool, including after the recent 3-0 defeat against Watford, but the Reds are unlikely to want to sell to a rival in the Premier League, and Jose Mourinho is likely to have other priorities this summer.
Who?
Manchester United defender Chris Smalling, who is currently on loan in Italy with Serie A side Roma.
Where?
The England international has been strongly linked with a permanent move away from Old Trafford, with The Sun recently linking him with Tottenham and Everton.
Roma are understood to be keen on a permanent deal for the defender, but Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport reports that the Toffees and Spurs are also considering moves, with the asking price at around £20million.
What?
Smalling has impressed during his loan spell with Roma, with his performances attracting attention.
He has worked with Mourinho before during his time at Manchester United, and he could be an experienced option to replace Jan Vertonghen, should the Belgian leave Spurs at the end of his contract.
Who?
Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen, who is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, as things stand.
Where?
The Daily Express reports that Tottenham face losing the experienced Belgian defender for nothing this summer, with no new deal agreed as yet.
The report claims that Spurs had the opportunity to sell Vertonghen in January but that no team met the club's valuation of the player.
Italian publication Tuttosport report that Inter Milan are keen to sign him on a free transfer.
What?
Vertonghen's current contract expires at the end of June, but with uncertainty over player contracts amid the coronavirus outbreak and when the current season may be concluded, his situation remains unclear.
The longer the situation goes on without a new contract being signed, the more likely it would seem that the 32-year-old's time in north London could end after six seasons.
If he were to seek a fresh challenge this summer, Inter Milan could appeal, with several players making the move from England to Inter in recent months, including Vertonghen's compatriot Romelu Lukaku and former Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen.
