Tottenham transfer rumours: PSG make fresh Alli approach, Rudiger competition, Sessegnon exit

Tottenham have had a busy start to the new season but stand undefeated in their last six matches in all competitions ahead of Sunday's clash with Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has been busy this summer bolstering his squad for his first full season in charge, landing the likes of Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale, amongst others.

Further business is on the cards before the transfer deadline on Monday evening, however, which could see new faces arrive and notable departures.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding Spurs.

Tottenham's Europa League draw reaction and review

PSG's fresh Dele Alli approach

Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a fresh approach to sign Dele Alli from Tottenham after seeing an initial offer rejected, the Telegraph states.

The French champions are said to have made the England international their priority heading into the closing of the transfer window and are determined to test Spurs' resolve.

24-year-old Alli has made it clear he is looking for a new challenge, having found opportunities difficult to come by under Jose Mourinho.

PSG have already has two loan bids rejected with the most recent understood to include a fee of about £4m, with Spurs looking for around double that figure.

Rudiger competition

AC Milan are ready to compete with Tottenham to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, Calcio Mercato states.

The Germany international has been frozen out of the side by Frank Lampard in Chelsea's recent matches, falling down the pecking order since the arrival of Thiago Silva.

Tottenham are also said to be keen on signing the experienced central defender but Chelsea may prefer to send him abroad rather than to a direct rival.

However, Milan only have until Monday's transfer deadline to tie-up a deal, whereas Spurs have until October 15.

Sessegnon braced for exit

Ryan Sessegnon is set to conclude a move to join Bundesliga side Hoffenheim as he will undergo a medical on Sunday, the Mail reports.

The 20-year-old has been the focus of vast interest this summer, with it stated Southampton, Brighton, Celtic, Hertha Berlin, RB Leipzig, Ajax and Barcelona had all eyed a move.

Despite limited opportunities at Spurs, he is seen as an important player for the future and the club were insistent that any exit would only be temporary.

As such, his deal with Hoffenheim does not include an option for the German side to make the transfer permanent.
