Tottenham transfer rumours: Milan Skriniar talks with Inter Milan intensify and Fraser deal off

Plenty of rumours are circling as to what business Tottenham Hotspur could look to do this summer.

Jose Mourinho has a big job on his hands as he looks to put his stamp on his squad, following what was a somewhat disappointing campaign.

And with Spurs set to go through qualification for next season’s Europa League, the Portuguese will need to add some reinforcements soon.

Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from north London.

Skriniar talks with Inter intensify

Tuttosport claim that Spurs have intensified their talks with Inter Milan over a deal for Milan Skriniar.

Any potential deal is still some way off but talks are said to be ongoing between the two clubs.

Inter are reportedly open to allowing the 25-year-old to leave provided they can find a replacement.

Spurs 'pull out' of Fraser transfer

Arsenal and Tottenham have reportedly ended their interest in signing free agent Ryan Fraser.

The former Bournemouth winger had been linked with both clubs for some time with his contract at the Vitality Stadium now expired.

But according to 90min, they are now out of the race to land the 26-year-old, with West Brom, Leeds and Fulham left to battle it out for Fraser’s signature.

Bale return discussed once more

Gareth Bale would snap up the chance to return to Tottenham, according to his former teammate.

Bale is currently out of favour at Real Madrid and rejected the chance to travel with the squad for their Champions League defeat to Manchester City last week.

And speaking to talkSPORT, Andros Townsend, who is now at Crystal Palace, argued that Bale's memories of his time at Spurs would be enough to convince him of a return.

"I think if anything the Bale situation, he’d want to go back to Spurs," he said."The memories of Spurs. His happiness.

"He was the main man. He was loved. He was at the top of his game. So, if anything I think it would work the other way.

"He would be like ‘I wish I was at Spurs now and had the freedom to do whatever I want.

"To express myself and not worry about where I am now where I get scrutinised for playing golf."
