Tottenham transfer rumours: Milan Skriniar alternative identified, Antonio Rudiger boost

It looks set to be a busy end to the transfer window for Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have until Monday to make signings from overseas and get rid of any unwanted players.

With that in mind, here is the latest Tottenham transfer gossip.

Skriniar alternatives

Spurs are reading another bid for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar for this weekend.

Inter are asking for £45m for the centre-back but Spurs are looking to spend £32m plus add-ons.

If no deal can be found, football.london understands that an alternative is being lined up.

Juventus' 22-year-old Merih Demiral is believed to be viewed as a cheaper option to Skriniar.

Rudiger breakthrough

Sky Germany report that a first breakthrough has been made between Spurs and Chelsea for Antonio Rudiger.

The centre-back has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge after the arrival of Thiago Silva.

Spurs have now made a move to sign the German on loan, which Chelsea are favourable to, provided he signs a new contract first.

Sessengon to leave on loan

Sky Sports News report that Bundesliga duo Hertha Berlin and Hoffenheim are eyeing up a loan move for Ryan Sessegnon.

Brighton & Hove Albion and Celtic have previously expressed an interest in the England under-21 international but both are no longer interested.

Sessegnon struggled for first-team football last season following his move from Fulham and is yet to feature at all under Jose Mourinho this campaign.
