Tottenham transfer rumours: Josh King on the radar, Arkadiusz Milik alternative identified

There are seven days remaining for Jose Mourinho to improve his Tottenham Hotspur squad in the European window.

It’s been a very mixed start to the 2020/21 Premier League campaign for Spurs, who have picked up four points from their opening three matches in the division.

The signings of Sergio Reguilon and Gareth Bale gave everyone a well-needed boost recently, and if reports are to be believed, then Daniel Levy and Mourinho are still after one or two more players before next Monday.

Here are the very latest Tottenham transfer rumours.

King on Spurs’ radar - reports

Bournemouth striker Josh King is on Tottenham’s radar, as the club look to add a striker before next week’s deadline, according to the Telegraph.

King is now in the final year of his contract down on the south coast, and the Cherries - who were relegated to the Championship last season - are reportedly willing to let the Norway forward leave for the right price.

Spurs are still in the market looking for a striker to provide back-up to Harry Kane, and the 28-year-old is one of the several options reportedly being looked at.

Aston Villa showed interest in King earlier in the window, but opted to sign Brentford forward Ollie Watkins instead.

Spurs 'eye Seferovic after Milik blow'

Tottenham are set to make a bid for Benfica striker Haris Seferovic after being dealt a blow in their pursuit of Arkadiusz Milik.

That’s according to Football Insider, who are reporting that Spurs are set to make a loan offer for the Swiss forward in the next few days.

The same website claims that Milik turned down a move to north London after fears that he wouldn’t get much first-team football behind Kane.

However, it seems Mourinho has now turned his attention to Seferovic, who scored nine goals in 45 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese giants last season.

Foyth in Valencia talks

Tottenham defender Juan Foyth is in talks with Spanish club Valencia over a move, according to Cope ( via Sport Witness ).

The future of Foyth looks set to be away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and the Spanish outlet are reporting that Valencia have identified the Argentine defender as a late target this summer.

The Spurs defender’s representatives are already in talks with the Spanish club - the report claims - as they look to ensure their client of more first-team opportunities.

Premier League newcomers Fulham are also reportedly keen on the 22-year-old centre-back.
