Tottenham transfer rumours: Eriksen linked with PSG move, Arkaduisz Milik eyes January move

The transfer window may be shut for the time being but with less than two months to go until it's back open, clubs are already planning their business.

Tottenham Hotspur are no different and although Jose Mourinho did some excellent business over the summer months, he will no doubt be wondering if he can strengthen further at the start of 2021.

With that in mind, here are some of the latest Spurs transfer rumours and gossip doing the rounds.

Eriksen future in doubt

Former Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen's future is in doubt at Inter Milan.

The Dane, who has started just twice this season, only left Tottenham in January to link up with Antonio Conte at the San Siro.

However, he has struggled to make much of an impact and reports in Italy suggest he could be on the way out.

Paris Saint-German have held an interest in him in the past and would jump at the chance to sign him.

A potential return to Spurs has not been ruled out either, according to Calciomercato.

Milik wants out

Napoli's Arkaduisz Milik is eyeing a move away from the Serie A club in January.

The Poland international's agent is said to have held talks with the club about a potential departure in two months' time, according to reports in Italy.

Milik was on Spurs' radar over the summer as they looked for a back-up for Harry Kane.

Although they ended up signing Carlos Vinícius on a season-long loan from Benfica to fill the position, the chance to sign Milik on a permanent deal could be too hard to turn down.

Alderweireld on the way out?

Defender Toby Alderweireld could return to his native Belgium to see out his playing days.

That's the verdict of his father who says there is a 'real' chance the centre-back will be playing closer to home in three years' time.

The Belgian international extended his contract at Tottenham at the end of last year, with his new deal expiring in 2023.

The player's father Viv told Belgian source Gazet van Antwerpen a change could be on the cards.

"The house will be ready in the course of 2023, in line with his contract with Tottenham," said Viv about the Belgian international.

“We’ll see where Toby will play football, at Tottenham, Ajax, an Antwerp club or elsewhere.

"But the chance that he will play closer to home at the age of 34 is real."
