Tottenham transfer rumours: Dele Alli talks difficult, Milan Skriniar 'convinced' to join Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are still in the market for a new striker before Monday night’s 11pm deadline.

Spurs have been heavily linked with numerous centre-forwards, as Jose Mourinho looks to provide support to Harry Kane.

However, as the transfer deadline edges closer, it could be a very busy last few days for Spurs as they look to do a bit more business.

Here are the very latest Tottenham-related transfer rumours from around Europe.

PSG talks for Alli proving difficult

Paris-Saint Germain remain in talks for Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli, but negotiations are proving difficult for the Champions League finalists.

Alli has been left out of four of Spurs' first six matchday squads this season, with his future very much in doubt at the north London side.

According to Fussball Transfers ( via Inside Futbol ), PSG are still locked in talks with Tottenham over the 24-year-old.

However, Spurs reportedly do not want to loan Alli out, and would rather sell him, but the Ligue 1 giants are not keen on a permanent deal.

Milik a “serious option” for Spurs

Arkadiusz Milik is a “serious option” for Tottenham, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romao ( via OddsChecker’s YouTube channel ).

Even though Spurs are closing in on a deal for Carlos Vinicius of Benfica, Romano believes the club’s supporters should keep their eye on another target.

Romano said: “Pay attention to Milik. He is one of the most serious options on the list. After speaking with many agents, I think they have been offered over 100 strikers.

“They have to make a decision. Pay attention to Milik, in my opinion. They were also talking to Bayer Leverkusen, but Bayer Leverkusen said no.”

Skriniar ‘convinced’ to join Spurs

Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar has been ‘convinced’ to join Tottenham, according to Sport Mediaset ( via FC Inter 1908 ).

The report states that Spurs are now willing to up their bid to try and complete a deal for the centre-back, who is valued at €50m by Inter.

The Italian side’s chief Piero Ausilio recently insisted that Skriniar will not be leaving the San Siro this summer.

However, the report states differently, saying that the Slovak defender has been ‘convinced’ to move to Spurs.
