Tottenham transfer rumours: Dele Alli surprise, Kim Min-jae battle, Dennis Cirkin talks

Tottenham enjoyed quite a weekend, with Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon's moves both being announced followed by the 5-2 win against Southampton on Sunday.

That victory saw Spurs get up and running for the season, while the two new additions will provide a significant boost to Jose Mourinho's side.

However, work in the transfer market may not be over though as there are still a few more weeks left in the window and plenty of names being thrown about.

Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding Spurs.

Dele Alli surprise

Members of Tottenham's squad were left stunned by Dele Alii's omission from the squad for Sunday's Premier League clash with Southampton, the Mail states.

The England international, who has been linked with a move to join Paris Saint-Germain, now reportedly sees his future in Jose Mourinho's squad cast into major doubt.

Gareth Bale's return to Tottenham has influenced that, with it reported that Spurs had considered using Alli as a makeweight in the deal with Real Madrid.

It's stated that the possibility of Alli leaving Spurs before the transfer deadline in just a few weeks time has now increased significantly.

Leicester join Kim Min-jae hunt

Leicester City are set to rival Tottenham in the market for the services of South Korea defender Kim Min-jae, according to reports from 90min.

The 23-year-old has caught the eye with his performances in recent seasons for Chinese side Beijing Guoan and Spurs reportedly saw a £12m bid rejected this summer.

Serie A side Lazio have also seen advances for the defender spurned and it's now stated that Leicester are the latest club to enter the running.

However, Tottenham remain the favourites to sign Min-jae, with Jose Mourinho's side encouraged to make a move by his compatriot Heung-Min Son.

Dennis Cirkin talks

Tottenham are in advanced talks with rising star Dennis Cirkin regarding a new deal at the club, according to Football Insider.

Spurs have high hopes for the 18-year-old full-back and are looking to offer the teenager a fresh deal just 10 months after he signed his first professional contract with the club.

Cirkin is yet to make his senior debut but, having penned his last contract in November, was an unused substitute in the FA Cup clashes against Middlesbrough and Southampton.

He also made the bench for July's Premier League clash against Everton and, despite the signing of Sergio Reguilon and having Ben Davies ahead of him, he could make his breakthrough this term.
