Tottenham transfer rumours: Defender tipped for Leeds United move, target available at cut-price

Here are the latest Tottenham transfer rumours for Thursday, October 29.

Son's decision won't change contract talks

Jose Mourinho says Son Heung-min's decision to change representatives won't impact the forward's contract talks.

Son has moved to the same agent Mourinho uses for commercial deals, leading to talk a Tottenham contract extension could be even closer than thought.

But Mourinho says the move will have no impact, saying: “That is not my job, I don’t care about who represents players, I just care about what players give me on the pitch and nothing to do with that,” Mourinho said.

“Sonny’s agency represents me on my image rights and commercial work outside my football job and that is it. Nothing more than that. The majority of my players I don’t even know who their agents are.

“An impact on Sonny’s future, I don’t know. I can say at a commercial level it will be a big impact because it is a worldwide, very, very important agency.

“In relation to his contract, I am not worried about it, he has three years of contract, a great relationship with Mr (Daniel) Levy and the people that represents him, I believe sooner or later that will be resolved.

“I don’t believe there will be a problem with that because he is a player with three years of contract."

Leeds tipped to sign Rose

Leeds United have been tipped to make a move for Spurs outcast Danny Rose.

Rose was expected to leave Tottenham in the summer following a loan spell with Newcastle last season, but nothing came about.

Danny Rose was not included in Tottenham's 25-man Premier League squad (2019 Tottenham Hotspur FC)

Former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson is now suggesting Leeds should make a move for the full-back.

"The contract situation will be resolved eventually and I would just like to see Danny Rose get out there and play football," Robinson told Football Insider.

"I would take him at Leeds because obviously, there has been a number of defensive injuries.

"Leeds have had Stuart Dallas and [Ezgjan] Alioski playing there but to have someone like Danny Rose as part of the squad, on a free transfer, that would be a no brainer for anyone."

Milik could leave on the cheap

Arkadiusz Milik could be available on the cheap in the January transfer window.

Milik was linked with a move to Tottenham during the summer window with Spurs understood to have included him in their narrowed down shortlist.

According to Area Napoli, Milik could be available in January for as little as £6.3million with the striker frozen out at Napoli.

That discounted fee is likely down to the fact Milik is out of contract next summer and able to leave for free.
