Tottenham transfer rumours: Daniel Levy's role in Tanguy Ndombele summer saga, Milik interest

Tottenham have made a mixed start to their Premier League season, winning two of their opening five matches.

One of those wins came in the form of a memorable 6-1 victory away at Manchester United, with the other a 5-2 triumph at Southampton.

Spurs splashed the cash to make a number of signings during the summer, including Matt Doherty and Sergio Reguilon, and sealed a loan return for club legend Gareth Bale.

With the January window just around the corner, here is a round-up of all the latest transfer rumours and gossip concerning Tottenham.

Levy prevented Ndombele summer exit

Inter Milan were reportedly interested in Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombele during the summer.

The Italian side were very keen to bring him in but chairman Daniel Levy set an asking price of £54.5 million which scared them off, according to Calcio Mercato .

Ndombele will not be given the chance to join Inter again in January as he is establishing himself as one of Jose Mourinho's key players.

Details of Son deal

Son Heung-Min is reportedly set to be offered an improved contract at the club worth £200,000 per week.

The South Korean international has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, scoring nine times in just eight appearances in all competitions.

He still has three years to run on his current deal, but Mourinho has said he would like to see the player commit his long-term future to Spurs.

"Son has three years of contract, so it's not like we're in an extreme situation of everybody being worried. It's more that Son loves it here, I believe that he would like to commit his future to the club for a long time," he said.

Interest in Milik still alive

Spurs are still reportedly tracking Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik after being linked with a move for the 26-year-old throughout the summer.

According to Area Napoli , Milik has grown tired of being left out of the squad at the Serie A outfit and would like a new challenge.

It is said that Napoli would be happy to sell and may even accept a fee as low as £6.3million for his services.
