Tottenham Hotspur are preparing for their League Cup quarter-final against Stoke City, as Jose Mourinho looks to win his first piece of silverware as Spurs boss.
In the league, Mourinho 's men are suddenly six points off the pace and in need of a spark following the back-to-back defeats, including losses to Liverpool and most recently Leicester City on Sunday.
Mourinho might have been content with his squad up until a fortnight ago, but those two defeats might have convinced the Portuguese boss to go back into the market to strengthen in the January transfer window.
With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest Tottenham transfer rumours.
Nikola Milenkovic eyed
Manchester United and Tottenham are reportedly ready to battle for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The Serie A side have slapped a £23million price tag on the Serbia international, with reports in Italian paper La Nazione claiming the Premier League duo are among the interested clubs.
The 23-year-old is an established international with 26 caps for Serbia.
And he is a regular for Fiorentina and played at the heart of defence as they beat Juventus 3-0 on Tuesday night.
Demarai Gray
Tottenham will reportedly face competition from a host of interested clubs for Leicester winger Demarai Gray.
The winger's contract at the King Power runs out at the end of the season, and is set to leave on a free transfer in the summer.
Spurs have been linked with a move for the Foxes star, with Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers admitting earlier this month that he expects Gray to move on in the near future.
However, it would now appear that Spurs have a battle on their hands to land the player.
The Daily Mirror claims that Newcastle and West Brom also keen on snapping him up, along with clubs in Italy and Germany.
Dybala move urged
Tottenham have been urged to make a fresh move for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala by former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell.
Campbell says Jose Mourinho's side are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements in January, especially a player who can add creativity.
Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell: "Dybala is a superb player. He is someone with tricks and he is someone who can unlock the door.
"Mourinho is building from the back. He has sorted the defence and the base of his midfield while the partnership of Son and Kane is thriving.
"But I think he knows there will be times where teams will sit in and ask Spurs to break them down.
"Mourinho will need a different option, an alternative to be able to unlock the door and Dybala could be that.
"He has not messed around with his transfer so far. He is going for key players in key positions."
